Ayurveda + The Nervous System

Thank you for being part of the first workshop in the Empowered Wellness for Every Woman series! Below you’ll find the recording, most of the practices I mentioned, and some journaling prompts.

Continue to experiment with…

  • Drawing root cord (healing love) + opening crown (healing light) – to anchor
  • Check in with your body’s sensations
  • Vu sound (and variations w/ hands and bearing teeth)
  • Jaguar walking (on all 4s) with sound
  • Enjoy all the good that comes to you – let yourself receive
  • Create pleasurable experiences – make a list and post it somewhere visible and then make dates with yourself
  • Be honest – acknowledge your feelings (because holding them down will suck your energy)
  • MOVE – dance, jump, use movement to shift your states and to move emotions through you
  • SLOW DOWN (if you have a habit of rushing, make time to brainstorm about ways you can change that – do you need to allow for extra time or say no to something or…?)
  • Daily reverie – time for nothing — just being present and feeling good!
  • Self Massage – abdominal/womb massage, breast massage, and all of your other beautiful parts
  • Rest
  • Visualization – evoke good feelings and then embody those feelings

Self reflections…

  • What are you taking in through your senses/ experiences?
  • What influences do you have control of?
  • What is your Nervous System state tendency under stress?
  • Are there any cycles that still need completing?
  • What turns you on – taste, touch, smell, sight, hearing, sensing?
  • What are the parts of you that you hide and/or dissociate?

1-1 Holistic Health Consultation and follow-up sessions – (12 total sessions) for 3 months.
Initial session will be 60-120 minutes. Follow up session type will be determined based on individual client needs. Some examples of follow-up sessions are: embodiment sessions, coaching (life, health, spiritual), meal planning, holistic pelvic care, therapeutic movement, breathing/visualization work, energy work, etc.
